B.01 CASUAL BLAZER
Our casual blazers are crafted in our partner sartoria near Arezzo in Tuscany. This family-owned workshop is led by master tailor Maurizio since more than 20 years.
Core designOur design B.01 is Maurizio’s specialty; the essential everyday blazer: softly tailored, with minimal construction and lining combined with no shoulder pads and shirting shoulders. Single breasted with two buttons, our core blazers feature double back vents and a 7.5cm notch lapel which is cut with a gentle curve and fairly high lapel gorge. Our core design is completed by two flap pockets, a pair of inner pockets, and three working buttons on each sleeve.
Core materialsOur core collection includes a curation of fabrics sourced from top mills in Northern Italy, England and Ireland with options for every season and occasion. We particularly love textured, colourful and natural fabrics in captivating colours or shades. Our core selection includes tweeds and soft wool blazers for the colder months, as well as lightweight wool/silk blends and breathable linen blazers for the warmer season.
The soft spalla a camicia shoulders are tailored for a rather narrow fit and combined with a high armhole and tapered sleeves. The darted front and not so deep button stance work to accentuate waist suppression and create a slimmer silhouette. The blazer still retains plenty of comfort and ease of movement thanks to the roomy sleeves around the biceps and generous back width. Finally, the length is set relatively short giving the blazer that extra touch of casual.
Our blazer design B01 is tailored in a rather slim and short Italian fit with relatively narrow shoulders and a good degree of waist suppression. If you are in between sizes consider sizing up.
